It was a party...Guests go silly and have a lot of fun. Some are quite well behaved...others are, well, let's not say. But they have fun just the same.

Then there are the party girls. The three of them had enough laughs for another millennium. I caught them off guard. Oh, "how sweet it is."

The lighting was bright, coming in from a skylight, unrestricted. Everyone was silent...how beautiful she looked. It was an elegant shot.

I like to make an "artistic" rendition with select photographs...Sometimes it just offers a different point of view.

The Grand Entrance

Talk about stunning...!

She was ready and dressed. I asked her to begin walking down the staircase, and that's when I saw an opprtunity to take a portrait on the fly.

It was a grand entrance, and I guided her and took many photographs as she proceded to walk down.

The family and bridesmaids were speechless.

The photographer (that's me) was happy...!

Professional Makeup

What a difference it can make. If your budget allows, have your make up done professionally.

A professional makeup artist knows that makeup for quality photography requires different shading and techniques, than for in-personal, daily visuality.

And I love it when the shop has taken the time before hand to prepare all the details with the bride...prior to arrival at the house or getting ready location.

I love all the mess and charts they bring. The sign of a professional...!

Talk about timing...she was organized and on time - a luxury for a photographer...!

I wanted to get a nice, full profile picture of her gown. The detail embroidery was stunning, as was the bride.

She was ready, and the bridesmaids were there to support her every step of the way...Gosh they were particular about the detail. I hardly had to do any gown setting. They made sure every wrinkle was just right.

And the bride, she was beaming.

On Theater Stage

This was a no-frills ceremony & reception...Passionate, personal...!

Held at the Schaumburg Arts Prairie Center, on stage...200 guests.

This stage sees world renowned theater performances and musicians...

It was a very memorable 2 hour photography event.

At The Conservatory

The Lincoln Park Conservatory in Chicago is a great place for intimate photography.

Plush with beautiful flowers...nooks and crannies. What a peaceful spot.

Ala and Peter selected their offsite location at the Park and were very happy with the outcome. Peaceful, intimate and private.

I highly recommend it.

No matter what place you pick off-site, whether it is just you and the groom or it inludes the bridal party, it should offer you quiet and secluded moments...away from the hustle and pressure of the day.

Limo Rides

Limo rides are exciting...the bride and groom get to relax. The pressure is off...they are married!
